This role is perfect for someone eager to expand their HR knowledge and skills, offering fantastic progression and development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:

* Craft job descriptions, review applications, conduct inductions, and ensure compliance with right-to-work checks.
* Manage and review apprentice programs.
* Generate employment contracts for new hires.
* Keep track of probation reviews and timelines.
* Guide managers on salary, redundancy, and employment law.
* Coordinate with occupational health services.
* Formulate policies on working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary actions, and absence management.
* Assist in managing company absence protocols.
* Advise on and enforce company policies and procedures.
* Take minutes during disciplinary and grievance proceedings.
* Work with department managers to identify training needs.
* Maintain records for company benefits.
* Update the company handbook regularly.
* Promote these values within the company culture.
* Provide support to the payroll department as needed.
* Develop initiatives to improve employee relations.

Person Specification:

* Must have comprehensive, practical knowledge of Employment Law
* Prior HR experience is required.
* Strong influencing and persuading abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.


* £27000 - £30000 based on experience
