Hays HR are currently working in partnership with a thriving manufacturing enterprise in Blackburn. Exciting opportunity to be a part of their journey, as the site has recently been acquired by a leading European hygiene specialist, WEPA. The WEPA Group is a family business operating throughout Europe and offers sustainable and innovative hygiene solutions that contribute to the well-being of millions of consumers all over Europe every day. With more than 4,000 employees, they produce hygiene paper products such as toilet paper, towel paper, handkerchiefs and napkins at 14 production sites in Europe.
The site has a brand-new opportunity for a HR Manager to join their vibrant and dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to contribute and build the HR function while enhancing your skills and being a part of the wider WEPA HR team.
Your new roleIn this newly created and exciting opportunity, you will be able to apply your experience and personality to a wide range of situations and challenges, to further develop within the role and to progress your career. You will work closely with the Head of HR for the UK to introduce and develop a HR function. You will be expected to provide an excellent level of service and support to the leadership team on the site.Responsibilities will include:
* Employee relations casework: Supporting Investigation, Grievance & Disciplinary hearings, performance management and absence management
* Provide professional HR support to all employees across the business
* Recruitment and Selection
* Support and lead HR projects
