Head of People and Talent - Grimsby / NE Lincolnshire. Circa £47000 DOE plus excellent benefits.

Your new role
Working for a multi-site large, innovative, dynamic, and financially sound organisation.

The Head of People & Talent plays a key role in leading and developing a team dedicated to talent acquisition, specialist recruitment, and day to day operations for all stages of the employee life cycle. This role will ensure the effective management and maintenance of people systems and processes while also embedding proficient processes and improving employee engagement within the People and Culture team.

The organisation is in a period of continuous improvement and therefore are looking to update systems, processes, initiatives etc - therefore as well as the day to day management of the Talent Acquisition and HR/Employee Lifecycle administration areas, you will be working on various projects around process improvement, system improvements, reporting development, retention and recruitment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Manager with a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment bias, or for a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Manager with employee lifecycle/HR shared service background to lead the development and improvement of a service and its challenges.

NB This is a mainly site-based role with some travel to other sites (within 1 hour travel) - 4 days a week - with a 1 WFH option. Flexibility on working hours is on offer and compressed hours into 4 days will be considered.
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Clearance through the DBS

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will :

* Have a background in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment and HR processes & systems.
* Improvement processes and project experience.
* Retention initiatives.
* Staff /team management experience.
* HR metrics/KPI reporting and analysis skills.
* Ideally be minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience level)
* Ideally some generalist HR/ER knowledge and experience
