Job Details
HR Administrator
We are seeking a HR Administrator to join this dynamic, successful, and friendly professional services firm where you can really make your mark. You will be supporting the business by being responsible for the administration, assisting both the HR Manager and HR Advisor in all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding, appraisals, benefits and well-being, and HR reporting.

The role is suitable for hybrid working although the successful candidate will be required to attend our modern office on a minimum of one day each week.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist the HR Advisor in all new Starter and leavers procedures including organisation of the pre-employment checks, induction process, meeting new joiners, chasing outstanding documentation, and processing leavers’ documentation.
- Prepare general standard HR correspondence e.g. letters, references and offer paperwork.
- Assist in the organisation of the end-to-end recruitment process for vacancies across the firm.
- Administrative support for annual processes such as appraisals, salary reviews and the firm’s engagement survey.
- Administrative support for the firm’s benefits and rewards.
- Assist with co-ordinating training courses and enrolment of employees to the firm’s compliance training.
- Producing regular ad hoc HR statistical reports on; staff turnover, exit interviews, sickness, social value, equality and diversity etc.
- Take notes of formal meetings.
- Maintain the HR information system (CascadeGo/IRIS) with accurate and current data.
- Recording training and recruitment expenditure against the HR budget.
- Ensuring personnel files are updated and supporting the retention and deletion of HR data in line with GDPR.
- Assist in maintaining monthly spreadsheet of updates for payroll
- Responsible for all other HR filing
- Supporting the team on ad-hoc projects

Person Specification
Essential
- Degree or equivalent CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build, develop and manage positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to use own initiative.
Desirable
- Previous experience in an HR department or other office support role
- Experience of working within the professional services sector and in particular a law firm environment
