Opportunity:
Norman Rourke Pryme is looking for our first Chief People Officer (CPO) to join our Executive team. As CPO you will develop and oversee our People Strategy, that will support the delivery of NRP’s Business Strategy. As an employer of choice, you will support our growth ambitions ensuring the right skills are in place at the right time.
You will work with the leadership team to ensure the People and Talent contribution to the commerciality of the entire business in the short, medium, and long term to maximise enterprise value.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and agree People Strategy for NRP that aligns with the Business Strategy and Planning to deliver growth ambition and profitability.
Establish the people-critical components of the service value chain to ensure it is resourced and competent at every stage.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Commercial and Client Teams to deliver cost effective and revenue maximising client service and supports NRP to be an employer of choice.
Develop and agree Business Continuity people and talent considerations for NRP in collaboration with Commercial, Delivery, Client, and Operations.
Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure that Career Development Framework revenue thresholds, competencies and learning and development needed to deliver the commerciality of NRP is updated, maintained, and optimally resourced.
Ensure accurate people data and reporting that enables future forecasting. Ensure that the people elements of the business will deliver the purpose, strategy, and business plans in line with ESG and BCorp (Purpose, Planet, People and Performance)
Align internal and external purpose, branding and values in collaboration with Sales and Marketing and lead internal marketing and employee engagement.
Provide assurance to the Board that we have optimum people approach for business sustainability in line with NRP purpose and strategy.
Propose commercial people policies and procedures to Executive Committee for sign off and adoption across the business.
Shape and evaluate employee experience and wellbeing and evidence effectiveness to the Executive and Board Promote an innovative, inspiring, and supportive workplace with an EDI strategy that enables people from diverse backgrounds can reach their full potential and deliver on NRP’s strategic goals.
Provide regular EDI progress reporting to the Executive and Board Lead and develop People and Talent Team ensuring internal consultancy approach mirroring our own client approach in our sectors.
Act as a catalyst for change; guiding and influencing organizational design, development, and change management solutions.
Lead the implementation of organizational change from a people perspective. Develop robust talent management plans to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles and ensure strong succession plans.
Facilitate resource planning in partnership with leadership team to define their resource plan within the strategy, optimizing levers to increase market penetration and operational efficiency whilst managing risk.
Provide impartial internal resourcing service to run the NRP bench ensuring that the right resources are deployed to the right projects in line with client needs, skills, and development aspirations.
Manage employee relations (performance, conduct and capability) expertly and employment law issues highlighting and mitigating risk.
Provide regular employment law updates to the Executive and ensure that all applicable legislative changes are costed, reflected in NRP policies and practices and that the company is compliant.
Work with Remuneration Committee to develop reward strategies, ensure the commerciality of reward and alignment with purpose and values of NRP.
Provide accurate up to date reward benchmarking data and recommendations managing job evaluation and benchmarking process and outcomes.
Use analytics & trend analysis to help shape HR strategies to support business objectives and drive insight to continuous improvement of our People and Talent activity.
Facilitate high calibre leadership by designing, commissioning, and delivering world-class leadership development and continuous educational systems.
Lead Talent Management & Development by designing and operationalising innovative programs that drive talent development and deployment.
We are looking for you if you have:
10 years’ experience in HR and people leadership Strong collaborative working across functions and teams. B2B Professional Services experience Business lifecycle experience Delivered strategic HR strategy and operations in similar client services culture. Educated to first degree level. Post graduate Masters or Level 7 Chartered Fellow FCIPD Coaching qualification or approach
