The Society and College of Radiographers (SOR / COR) are two separate companies operating together to provide service and support for those involved in radiography. Together they comprise the professional body and trade union for those practicing in medical imaging and radiotherapy.

The Society of Radiographers has an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to join our team in a broad and interesting HR role.  We are looking for a positive and knowledgeable HR professional to support the administration of the people related aspects of our business strategy and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) action plan.

The Role

Working together with the ER & HR Business Partner, this role will support managers and employees in the understanding of employment policies and procedures, administration of recruitment and the onboarding process, and maintaining registrations and communications around employee benefits and training.   The role will have the important task of maintaining employee data and producing reports to inform and support HR processes and management information, and additionally, working alongside our EDI lead, to support administrative aspects of the DEIB action plan.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have previous human resources experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a positive and inclusive working environment. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can handle a wide range of HR functions, and strong skills in the use of HR related data and reporting are essential.

 What you need to know

Location:   Hybrid working (HQ/Home) or Homeworking

Salary: £41,080 per annum

London Allowance - £6,559 per annum (HQ / Hybrid)

Benefits include 37 days annual leave plus bank holidays, final salary pension scheme, significant wellbeing benefits and access to shopping discount platform.

Contract:  Permanent 

Hours:   35 hours per week
