L&D Manager - £45-50k, car & benefits – Midlands/Hybrid
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation as their L&D Manager.
The role:
You will have responsibility for designing, implementing, and measuring the success of the L&D strategy route map across the organisation encompassing onboarding, development, succession planning, talent mapping and the offboarding initiatives for the Group.
The L&D Manager is responsible for developing and progressing an effective and progressive L&D strategy and approach that enables access to key development tools and programmes, ensuring everyone can reach their full potential and to provide sustainable and evolving capability for the business.
The role reports to the HR Director and has line manager responsibility for 2 L&D Advisors.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Demonstrable experience within a similar role - ideally within a fast-paced environment.
CPP qualified or equivalent, ideally working towards a CIPD or equivalent qualification.
Coaching and/or psychometric assessment certifications and Insights will be an advantage.
Demonstrable management experience.
Up to date knowledge of training and coaching theory and best practice.
Experience of designing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of training solutions.
Personal characteristics should include:
Ability to work independently and balance/manage multiple projects.
Ability to take a hands-on approach, transitioning smoothly from strategic to delivery outputs.
Ability to manage expectations of stakeholders and senior leadership in order to ensure workload expectations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt style to influence and land message.
Team player and a proactive approach.
Engaging, authentic, results focussed, creative and a great relationship builder.
