Job Details
Large utilities organisation.
Your new role
* Manage ER cases, such as disciplinary, grievances and appeals
* Supporting the organisation through restructures and other organisational change
* Dealing with disputes appropriately (for example, mediation or tribunal cases)
* Coaching managers to deal with people in a fair and effective manner
* Creation and delivery of ER training for managers
* Creating and updating people policies, ensuring they are legally compliant
* Support HR work across the broader team as needed
* Provide guidance and support to the HR & Recruitment Advisor/HR & Payroll Administrator
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in managing all ER case work independently, including grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, performance improvement, flexible working requests, appeals, mediation, consultation, restructures, ACAS and tribunal claims
* Strong and up-to-date knowledge of employment and case law around ER topics
* Confident and experienced in advising employees and managers
* Good consultation and influencing skills
* Highly organised self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing workload requirements
