Director of People & Communications

As we take the next steps in our journey, we need the right person to join us in a pivotal new role as our Director of People and Communications.  Not only will you get to help shape this new role, you’ll also play a crucial part in shaping our Trust and our people.

The overall responsibility of the Director of People and Communications is to be responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of Pioneer’s People Strategy and for developing and delivering a communications strategy that will support and promote the work of Pioneer. The postholder will also be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing innovative people and communications projects in order to improve employee engagement, organisational performance and effectively support Pioneer’s strategic priorities, mission and values with all stakeholders. The postholder will also maintain a highly visible and professional profile within our Trust and the community and contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the Trust.
