Job Details

Working as part of a large HR & People Services Team, you will be leading a specialist Workforce Information HR data reporting and HR Analytics function.
Using your knowledge and experience of HR data analysis and reporting, you will be working with the HR team to produce Workforce Information reports and analysis.

Under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager for Systems, you will produce and streamline intricate data analysis and dashboards of information which will enable decision-making and monitor performance across a range of HR indicators.

This will be possible through their advanced skills in data analytics, streamlining processes with automation and coding. A key part of this role is the adoption, development, and oversight of the main data reporting tool for the team.
Key tasks include

* Produce, delegate, and oversee the high quality, regular workforce performance reports for presentation to the Board. Reports must be timely, accurate and well presented, with associated data supported by workforce 'intelligence.'
* To be the main point of contact for all data requirements and requests. Delegating workload and skills onto the Workforce Information Analysts where appropriate.
* To have knowledge of local and national developments in relation to health information and systems and act as an initial point of contact/expertise for queries and issues arising.
* To provide and develop workforce information reports for the senior management and other operational teams, on a range of complex situations that enables clarity and understanding for the audience.
* To analyse and interpret sensitive and complex information which conflicts, to enable judgements to be reached or decisions made within a short timescale.
* Provide all the information required in the correct timescales for external organisations, as necessary.
* To analyse complex data for a wide range of stakeholders, determining the best form for communicating/presenting the information, from simple to highly complex, and ensuring that the presentation is relevant, comprehensible and conforms to agreed timescales with the relevant stakeholders.
* To proactively improve methods of data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and presentation.

Candidates
We are seeking an experienced HR Analyst / Workforce Information Lead / Workforce Systems Analyst / Workforce Reporting Analyst who has a background of working for large scale organisations with large employee data sets and reporting.

* Ability to analyse, interpret and present highly complex information from large data sets
* In depth experience in information analysis, ideally workforce, production of reports or similar transferable skills.
* Advanced experience/skills in preparing complex information and presenting it in different types of media and to groups of people.
* Detailed analysis, validation and triangulation of various types of data to inform assessment of performance of complex organisations and to help identify opportunities for improvement.
* Experience of reporting and maintaining workforce systems in relation to data quality.
* The ability to effectively plan and time manage workloads and prioritise tasks and conflicting demands on time and resources.
* Understanding of data structures within HR workforce systems.
* Familiarity with NHS / ESR systems would be an advantage.

* 6 months temporary contract via Hays on hourly rates
