HR Manager - Retford / Gainsborough area - £60000 to £75000 - DOE and qualifications - car allowance, bonus and other great benefits.

Your new role

Reporting to the Site Director, you will be responsible for all people related activities, including employee engagement, wellbeing and development, compensation and benefits, internal communication, recruitment, onboarding and ensuring retention of staff. You will proactively look after the site's team, champion the company culture & values and manage all aspects of HR.
This is a senior role as part of the Senior Leadership Team - partner with this team to develop, execute, and drive human resources strategies to ensure strategic workforce plans align with organisational capabilities across the organisation. You will develop the HR strategic plan to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs to fill the identified gaps - ensuring the organisation has suitable access to talent to ensure future business growth and success.You will also manage the HR/People budget including recruitment, L&D and projects.

Specifically your responsibilities will include:

* Plan, create and coach to support organisational change management and communications.
* Lead on senior level Employee Relation activities, including collective bargaining negotiations and communications as required
* Manage outsourcing of Payroll, payroll budget, control and monitoring
* Manage benefit providers and contracts and flex benefit system
* Lead HR initiatives/programmes/processes/policy development including engagement activities
* Embed and champion a high performance culture across the business
* Lead the implementation of recruitment and selection processes which maximise our ability to attract top talent in all areas
* Develop and implement performance and development processes; working closely with line managers to support the growth of the whole team
* Review and ensure learning and development plans and training are identified and implemented
* Develop and maintain pay and benefits to ensure alignment between our offering, market trends, and available resource
* Develop, implement and manage the business Wellbeing programme and initiatives
* Create and enhance diversity, equality, and inclusion programmes
* Ensure organisational design and development plans and interventions are executed in line with the business plans
* Coach designated line management, providing guidance and support regarding organisational change, including support with organisational design, restructures and cultural change programmes

What you'll need to succeed

* A relevant post-graduate and / or CIPD qualification.
* Proven experience growing and leading a HR team
* A strong HR knowledge-base and skill set, with previous experience operating in a stand-alone position within a high performing growth organisation.
* Senior leadership skills such as

* Solution focused with strong strategic skills
* Strong influencing skills
* Consultancy and coaching skills
* Pragmatic problem solving skills.
* Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders.

* Managing a budget experience.
* Project management and change management skills
* Knowledge and experience of UpToDate UK employment law
* Experience of managing Employee Relations and Trade Unions

NB due to the location of the business and lack of public transport routes - car ownership is required.

What you'll get in return
A competitive salary is on offer, dependant on your experience and skill set - £60000 to £75000 - plus:

* Car allowance
* Bonus - upto 15% dependant on company and personal performance.

* 37 hours a week Monday to Friday role - 8.30am to 4.30pm
* Flexibility - but SITE BASED (own transport needed due to lack of public transport in the area)
* More than standard holiday - 25 days plus the bank holidays
* Great pension - 5% contribution and 10% company in the 1st 2 years. Then can increase your contributions and the company will double theirs upto a maximum of 15%
