We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the University's HR Department as an HR Business Partner. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our long-term vision of attracting and retaining a high-quality, diverse, and skilled workforce while promoting our University as an employer of choice. You'll work closely with Heads of Schools, Departments, and Professional Services, contributing to developing and implementing strategic objectives.
As a key member of our HR team, you'll lead and actively participate in various projects to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives and initiatives. Your dedication to excellence in all facets of HR service delivery will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards. Additionally, you'll identify and implement targeted people interventions for designated areas. You'll also be a trusted coach and advisor to Heads of Schools, Heads of Departments/Services. Your areas of expertise will include performance management, organizational design, change management, and strategic resourcing.
Applicants for this position should have a graduate degree or equivalent qualifications and be a chartered member of the CIPD (level 7 or equivalent). A proven track record of fostering effective professional relationships and establishing credibility and trust with senior managers is crucial. Extensive senior-level HR experience in a complex environment, ideally within a unionized setting, will be highly valued.
