Director of People

Reporting directly to the Bursar, the Director of People will be responsible for HR strategy and operations across the Corporation, which comprises King’s College Senior School and Junior School, the pre-prep Wimbledon Common Prep School and the trading subsidiaries – KCSW International (overseas schools) and KCS Enterprises (sports club and premises letting).

Working closely with senior leaders, the Director of People will lead the Human Resources function of the school and support the development of a forward-looking people strategy as part of the Corporation’s wider strategic agenda,

The successful candidate will offer substantial strategic and operational HR leadership experience, demonstrable understanding of best practice across multiple HR disciplines, and the interpersonal and communication skills to lead a dynamic team and work effectively with staff across the school. In addition, they will bring the organisational skills and capacity for innovation to manage first-class HR operations in support of the Corporation’s aims and mission.
