Your new company
Hays are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to appoint an HR Manager to their People Services team.

Your new role
As People Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an effective, efficient and user-friendly experience on all transactional people processes and offer a general HR advice service. The role will seek to modernise, innovate and seek continuous improvement in HR processes and systems. Ensuring there is an effective administrative support to HR colleagues, and internal stakeholders to enable business improvements and facilitate the provision of quality MI for the leadership team.
You will also support the wider People Services team and the HR function in providing an expert service and ensure all processes, systems and paperwork are legally compliant and as efficient as possible and that processes are automated where possible. You will ensure best practice processes and lead a team of knowledgeable multiskilled and customer focused People Services Assistants who are able to respond to queries via multiple channels.

What you'll need to succeed

* Understanding of people processes and systems (preferably i-trent)
* Experience of process improvement
* Diploma in HR, MCIPD qualified or equivalent experience (can be working towards a qualification)
* People management skills, supporting a team dealing with a complex workload.
* Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, self service automation and shared services
* Operational understanding of IT systems and applications such as word, excel, PowerPoint

What you'll get in return

* £45-53k dependent on experience
* Full time hours: 35 hours per week (Hybrid working: 3 days in office per week)
