Your New CompanyJoin a leading facilities management company as a HR Officer within the North West (Barrow in Furness and occasionally Manchester/Cheshire). This company prioritises people, collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs and create a better workplace experience. They are committed to safety, compliance, and sustainability, helping clients achieve their goals while optimising efficiency and minimising environmental impact.
Your New RoleAs an HR Officer, you will provide professional first-line advice to managers and employees on employee relations, conditions of service, and company procedures. You will be the HR focal point for developing HR processes and ensuring compliance with current legislation. Your responsibilities will include advising on employment legislation, supporting HR Business Partners and line managers, attending hearings, and promoting effective communication within the business. You will also handle employee relations matters, including trade union interfaces, and participate in the management and implementation of TUPE policies.
What You Will Need to Succeed

* Extensive experience in an HR role, preferably within a facilities management environment.
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation
* CIPD Level 5 qualification.
* Knowledge of TUPE
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel between Cumbria, Manchester, and Cheshire.
