HR Assistant

Your new company

A global organisation with sites across the globe is recruiting an HR Assistant to join them on a 12-month FTC. This is an opportunity to join a strong HR Service team located in Newcastle Upon Tyne working hybrid; 2 days on site while working closely with their other People functions within the organisation. A great opportunity for an HR professional looking to be part of a growing team.

Your new role

Within your new role, you will work within the HR Service Team supporting the full employee lifecycle, while supporting the other HR functions.

Responsibilities:

* Monitoring the shared HR Inbox
* Being the first point of contact for providing first line advice to HR Advisors, operational and transactional services
* Support the recruitment team with onboarding of new employees
* Supporting on the administration duties for salary changes, promotions, family leave, leave of absence tec
* Process queries on family-friendly policies and benefits, including first-line discussions with employees to explain policy and procedure
* Ensuring the HR Database is kept up to date

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in being selected, you will require experience of the following;

* Experience working in a Shared service function or similar
* Have strong HR Administration experience
* Understanding of HR administration of the full employee life-cycle events
* Able to produce HR reports from the HR System
