Reward and Compensation Specialist

Hays is working with a client in the professional services industry to recruit a Reward & Compensation Specialist to join their Belfast-based team.

Your new role
As a Reward & Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

* Providing guidance, analysis and reporting on policies to managers
* Lead the compensation survey process, working with HR colleagues, business leaders
* Study and analyse market data and trends
* Produce standard periodic and ad hoc reporting and track key issues and trends in compensation through benchmarking and gathering market intelligence from internal and external recruiters
* Support the ongoing development of company compensation practices, policies, and processes
* Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop competitive compensation offers for new hires
* Support the annual compensation review process of C-Suite executives

What you'll need to succeed

* Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business or human resources
* Previous experience in compensation analysis with a basic understanding of survey submission procedures and job matching
* Prior human resource-related work experience in employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and HR systems is preferred
* IT proficient with an advanced understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to create alternative solutions
* Able to work flexible hours or overtime as needed
