Job Details
I am delighted to be supporting a lovely organisation on the recruitment of a 17-month FTC for a Senior HR Advisor to cover a maternity period within a small HR team. The role is located on site for the first few months, then offers hybrid working.
**Must be able to get to site in South Tyneside**
Your new role
Within your new role you will work closely with the wider HR function to support on a range of HR activities while overseeing the HR Advisors, reporting into the Senior HR Manager.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead, motivate, and supervise direct reports to ensure high levels of performance and productivity
* Provide advice, support, and coaching to line managers across the full ER including disciplinaries, conflict management, absence management, performance, probation, equality, and employee welfare
* Provide support to managers to allow them to address and resolve conflicts
* Lead the development, review, and implementation of the
* HR policies and procedures
* Support learning and development activities across the business
* Identify opportunities to streamline HR
* Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience within an HR Generalist role previously
* Payroll experience (Advantageous)
* CIPD L.5 or above
* Strong Employment Law knowledge
* Proficient with MS Office and HRIS Software
* Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Develop and deliver training
* Experience in fast-paced environments
