Salary: c£45,000 pa depending on skills and experience.

Hybrid: London office (Borough High Street) or remote. If remote, must normally visit London office for meetings or events at least twice a month.

The People & EDI Manager will be responsible for:
• Providing a professional and efficient HR service at both a strategic and operational level for the 50+ staff working remotely and globally.
• Playing a critical role in EDI initiatives to foster a culture of inclusiveness and belonging.
• Working closely with managers and Directors to provide support and guidance on staffing matters, performance management and recruitment.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of a workforce strategy.
• Implementing organisational initiatives eg our L & D and wellbeing offers.
Your skills, experience and knowledge must include:
• A L5 CIPD qualification
• Strong practical knowledge of implanting EDI best practices and regulations.
• Experience of working for an INGO or similar global non-profit entity.
• Up to date practical knowledge of current employment law.
• Ability to foster employee relations where most staff work remotely.
• A collaborative and friendly team player.
• And a passion for the welfare of animals is ideal.
