A global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of unique systems, is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team based in Skelmersdale.
Reporting to the Site Director and an offsite HR Manager, you will lead the day-to-day HR operations for their 200+ employee site, whilst managing an HR Officer.
What You'll Do:
* Be the main go-to for all HR matters.
* Lead employee relations cases, resolving complex issues smoothly.
* Lead all site-based HR project-related work, in collaboration with senior team members
* Drive all recruitment, onboarding and the induction of new starters.
* Manage the HR system, MI reporting, and payroll queries.
* Mentor and support the HR Officer, guiding them to develop and progress.
* Collaborate with sister-sites, enhancing best practices and team culture across the group.
About You:
* Experienced HR Advisor with solid knowledge of UK employment law
* Able to lead ER case management, from start to resloution, with minimal support
* A team leader with strong IT and reporting skills.
* Able to influence and support colleagues at all levels of seniority.
N.B. Due to the nature of the business, this role is 100% site based and you must have a willingness to travel to other locations within the group, when required (Gloucester and Nottingham). Driving licence and your own car is required - full expenses provided.
