If your passion is for people, we want you to join us.
We’re looking for a skilled Talent Development Lead to join our team at Lift Schools. We are building a network of excellent schools across England. Excellent schools need excellent leaders, alongside teachers, and support teams to deliver the very best for our children and young people.
To make this happen, you will be at the heart of Lift Schools’ talent team, working hand in glove with our Chief Talent Officer, Head of Teacher Development, Head of Leadership Development, our coaching faculty and HR team. This role is key to us establishing Lift Schools as the model to the
sector for professional development, talent development and management.

Your skills and experience will help transform our culture.
We are in a rapidly changing world where we will need to support our young people and teams to embrace new ways of working, frontier technologies and broadening digital access. To meet our ambitions requires us to become a learning organisation. This role will lead on our professional
development offer with a focus on line management, interpersonal and people skills, regulatory training and the needs of our central team.

We are partnering with Google by becoming the ‘worlds first’ in the education sector to embed artificial intelligence into the tools we use every day. We can see the potential for personalised learning to transform the outcomes for our young people and staff. This role will play an active
role in the development of our learning approach, system and offer.

The role will actively support our new talent forums enabling the building and development of our talent pools in order to deliver our objectives and to drive a high-performance culture. The role will be instrumental in making an impact across the talent life cycle, from onboarding and induction onwards, so that we can become an employer of choice - somewhere where the best
people strive to join and thrive when they’re with us.

We would love to hear from you if you:
● Have a significant interest in learning, talent management and organisation development
● Are great at working collaboratively, diagnosing solutions, thinking creatively and delivering change
● Are interested in the creative use of technology to make an impact
● Believe that employees should be treated as adults, consumers and human beings - not numbers - this is about really thinking through how we support and engage our people
● Want to build your career in people/HR with access to great professional development, world class partners and investment in your own professional and career development
● Want to drive radical change in one of the largest educational organisations in the country.
● Believe that you can put developing talented people at the centre of everything our network does, so that every single one of our children receives a truly excellent education.

Who is Lift Schools?
We’re a diverse and inclusive network of schools with one clear mission; to provide an excellent education to every child - in every classroom, every day. And we do this across each of our 57 schools. As with our students, we want our team to be empowered to do their best work, supported by the best leadership they’ve ever had.

We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional efforts of everyone here in making this an incredible organisation.
We offer you:
● Comprehensive training: Access a wide range of developmental training to boost your career.
● Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support
● Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships, travel deals, and even electric vehicle incentives.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response. All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.
