Job Details
Hays is pleased to be working with one of Northern Ireland's leading FMCG manufacturers to recruit an ER Advisor in a newly created role in the business.
This is a full-time permanent position, based on site in Enniskillen.
Your new role
As an ER Advisor, you will support the HRBPs with a caseload of employee relations matters upholding fair and just policies in-line with legislation and best practice.
* Accountable for case management within your business units and providing support and advice on all employee relations matters
* Work with a continuous improvement mindset in case management
* Subject-Matter Expert for high impacting ER cases
* Manage and support the business with occupational health referrals
* Provide support for managers with regular phone calls to ensure they are prepared for all meetings and hearings.
* Support managers by providing note-taking for complex meetings and hearings
* Adhere to escalation framework
* Build collaborative working relationships with the employee relations team across the rest of the business to ensure a joined-up approach is taken when reaching decisions
What you'll need to succeed
* Sound and up-to-date knowledge of employment law
* Experience providing coaching and support to colleagues in casework
* Managing complex employee relations matters, ideally within a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
* Ability to manage high volumes of complex casework and prioritise workload to meet business needs
* Ability to identify and proactively assess and mitigate risk
* Coaching and influencing skills
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
* Cultural awareness
* Excellent time management skills, managing priorities under pressure and delivering against deadlines
High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work
