The Lancashire Workforce Development Partnership (LWDP), working alongside Lancashire County Council, provides a vital role in assisting the Social Care Sector with workforce development and training. Following a period of re-structure, the LWDP is currently seeking to recruit a Lead Organisational Development Officer to complement the existing management team.
The successful candidate will require a background in workforce development and training and possess sound knowledge of the Social Care sector and will lead on the provision of cost effective learning and development services for the sector. The Lead OD Officer will lead on the provision of cost-effective workforce development and learning and development services to local social care workforce and employers and will be responsible for leading, developing and supervising a team of seven Organisational Development Officers.

You must have CIPD or equivalent professional or management qualification and a recognised qualification in training and development.

You must have experience of commissioning and managing training programmes across a variety of settings and at all levels. You will also possess a professional consultancy approach using effective verbal and written communication skills and project management experience.
