In the role of Senior HR Officer / Business Partner you will report into the Operations Director of this Manufacturing company based in Birmingham. West Midlands., setting up a proactive and professional Human Resources function. You will also take responsibility for the Health and Safety function. Working with the Senior Management team of this growing Manufacturing company the Senior HR Officer / Business Partner will look at the policies and procedures and really take on a generalist HR role within the business, from disciplinaries and grievances to Hr strategy and internal communications. You will also need to look at the appraisal system, succession planning and talent management within the business and really impact cultural change. You will control the HR budget and contribute to HR KPI's and Management review as well as manage the relationship with their agency..
To apply for the role of Senior HR Officer / Business Partner you must have a true generalist HR background and be able to operate in a stand alone role within a growing Manufacturing company. You must have demonstrable experience within a generalist HR role with a proven track record in implementing policies and procedures. You must be able to interact at all levels from shop floor / agency workers to board level and should be prepared to attend management meetings to present on people issues. You should also have some understanding of Health and Safety and be able to look after health and safety within the company - although the main focus of your role is the HR side. Our client have also requested experience within a highly process driven manufacturing operation.
