Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this innovative and pioneering global manufacturing business to recruit a talented, resilient and forward-thinking Performance Management Specialist on a 6-month fixed term contract starting ASAP.

The role combines project management of job family / job evaluation, competency development and performance management activity streams. You will need to be able to work independently, but the projects are engaging and essential in supporting HR and L&D across the business.

This is very much a "doing" role and we therefore need somebody who is prepared to roll their sleeves up working under the direction of the Head of L&D at the same time as being able to run certain aspects independently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop key relationships and partner with key HR and Business Leaders
* Project management (indicative) of job family / job evaluation, competency development and performance management activity streams, in line with programme requirements
* Identify and agree project deliverables and / or key milestones with programme team
* Develop appropriate options and support preparation of presentations of selected options to Senior Management Team for approval
* Develop and implement project plans in line with wider programme requirements, to achieve the agreed deliverables, providing advice and support to stakeholders as required
* Co-ordination and delivery of supporting training requirements
* Support negotiation and / or consultation activity with the Trade Union and Employee Representative Groups, as appropriate
* Work in partnership with Communications team to develop the communications strategy and tactical delivery to support the wider OD programme objectives
* Transfer key HR knowledge and experience into the organisation
* Provide project support to wider Talent / L&D project streams as required

Key Experience:

* Relevant background and experience that will have been gained in specialist Job Family / Evaluation, Organisational Development, Talent Management, integrated Learning & Development roles
* Experience of working in large blue chip, ideally within Engineering, Manufacturing, FMCG or Supply Chain
* Experience of working within unionised organisations
* Proven track record of managing and implementing major HR initiatives or projects within a Job Family / Evaluation / Organisational Development context
* Demonstrable ability to create detailed and effective action plans, set objectives and targets to achieve section / project objective
* Proven training delivery skills
* A true team player, with a collaborative approach
* Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with proven experience of partnering with Senior Management teams
* Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to engage on all organisational levels
* Resilience and flexibility to deliver to programme timelines
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Combination of analytical, pragmatic and situational problem-solving skills
* Strong presentation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and strong IT skills
