Henlee Resourcing is working on an exclusive basis with this fast paced, entrepreneurial business based near Abingdon, to recruit an experienced HR Partner / HR Generalist a permanent basis.

Reporting to the UK HR Manager and working in a team of 4, you will provide end to end "hands on" HR support for the entire business which currently employs c. 350 people (and growing!!) mainly in the UK, with expanding teams in the USA.

Key areas of responsibility / requirements:

HR Operations (50%)

* In partnership with another HR Advisor, manage and lead assigned areas of HR Operations in a generalist capacity
* Creating, monitoring, reviewing and implementing HR policies and processes to ensure they are effective, aligned to Company culture and values, legally compliant, business focused with the appropriate use of technology as needed
* Provide line managers and employees with HR advice on all HR topics including performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary and grievance issues. In partnership with line managers effectively manage employee relations issues, managing risk appropriately and working successfully with internal legal
* Provide a pro-active, business focused recruitment service, working in partnership with recruiting managers from advertising through to offers of employment
* Manage and lead benefits programmes, including identification of benefits and suppliers, contract negotiations and management of external relationships
* As part of the HR team, provide advice and manage reward, recognition and compensation issues in line with our Compensation philosophy
* Represent HR at assigned Committees, i.e. Health & Safety
* Support HR projects and initiatives as needed

HR Advisor (30%)

* Support assigned business areas in the UK, with a business partnering approach, providing HR support, guidance, coaching and advice to business leaders regarding HR/people issues and functional/team effectiveness
* Act as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders and line managers

Project & Organisational Development support (20%)

* Organisational development including the creation of management training, leadership development, succession planning and talent identification and the development of culture and values
* Support the management training programme being able to present and train on HR Lunch & Learns as needed
* Support other Organisational Development projects as needed

Qualifications / experience:

* CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management, ideally Level 7 / MCIPD
* Undergraduate degree in human resources, law, psychology or relevant discipline or equivalent work experience in Human Resources
* Significant experience of operating in a Generalist HR and HR Operations capacity in a multi-site, international and ideally pharmaceutical or bio tech environment
* Experience of working in a business partner / business focused HR function
