Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this inspiring organisation with a site based in Gloucester to recruit an experienced Learning & Development / Talent Advisor on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to partner with the business to provide high levels of customer service, delivering fit-for-purpose, business focused people solutions worthy of a flagship organisation that support the execution of business strategies and serve to enhance business performance.

Reporting to an inspirational Talent Manager, this is a chance to contribute to a project in a very real way. Developing their talent will be a vital activity in ensuring they can achieve their vision and goal. The main purpose of the post is to provide talent & development advice and expertise to the business and key projects. This includes supporting careers, developing talent pools, liaising with suppliers, developing behavioural competencies and supporting the development of the organisational culture.

Main responsibilities:

* Working with the business to design & deliver tools to support talent, succession planning and leadership pipeline across the business
* Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability and delivery, developing people learning and developing strategies to help drive continuous and sustained business performance improvement
* Model new business behaviours and values, supporting introduction across the business, ensuring they underpin all programmes and deliverables
* Undertaking a full skills and needs analysis of the business / future requirements to develop learning and development programmes, demonstrating a tangible turn on investment
* Supporting HRBP and managers by implementing successful learning and development initiatives and programmes to improve organisational performance
* Implement new performance management tools, driving business behaviours and in turn business success
* Coaching and supporting individuals with their career & skill development
* Manage business partnerships / relationships with key suppliers (including outsourced providers) ensuring solution / service delivery to tender requirement / KPIs
* Organisation and oversight of early careers (including supporting work insight week, work placements related to graduates, and graduate development programme)
* Facilitation of team / group events, meetings and workshops
* Support the talent review process

Essential:

* Demonstrated experience of partnering with the business, providing customer focused learning and development expertise, driving business results.

Desirable:

* CIPD qualified or studying towards a CIPD qualification or BILD
* Experience of supporting organisation and culture change; strong advocate for and leader of change
* Demonstrated delivery of employee engagement initiatives, supporting culture change across the business
* Demonstrated experience in making engagement, talent and T&D decisions, assessing leadership, interfacing collaboratively across the business
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote solutions.
* Self-motivation and strong interpersonal/communication/influential skills with an emphasis on relationship / team / partnership building
* Strong communication, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
