An Interim Talent Development Project Manager is required for an urgent 6-9-month assignment, based near Newbury.

Reporting to the Head of Learning, as an experienced Project Manager, you will lead a major programme currently being undertaken, to define and standardise competencies across the entire, 6000 employee business.

The Competency Programme; "There is lot of work already done on competence in the business and its functions but, it needs to be collated, standardised where possible, then put in to the learning system. This will include creating job families and defining leadership, (very) technical and corporate function competencies".

"An added challenge is the heavily regulated and highly technical environment. Stakeholders have all bought in to the programme but, they are demanding and challenging! Competence exist locally in paper and spreadsheet form, you will be required to go out to the business, collate the information, challenge stakeholders and generally drive the pace of the programme, within tight timescales and to budget."

Suitable applicants must be senior learning professionals / project managers with experience gained in large, complex, industrial-type environments - you must have experience operating at the top level and be hands-on, with an innovative and creative mentality when it comes to building large scale Learning / Capability solutions. The ability to operate effectively in an extremely sensitive, complex, and challenging environment is essential.

If this role is of interest and you can clearly demonstrate the above competencies, we are keen to hear from you ASAP!
