Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this highly respected professional services business based in Swindon to recruit a talented HR Officer (with scope to progress) on a permanent basis.

This new role is responsible for assisting the HR Business Partner with the delivery of the HR Service to the Partners and Managers (internally) as well as supporting the HR Consultant on the client side (external) on an ad hoc basis.

Key Activities:

* Supporting, coaching and advising line managers on a broad range of HR needs, including terms and conditions of employment, policy and procedure including employee relations, onboarding, performance management and recruitment
* Development of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation, terms and conditions of service and best practice
* Review of HR processes, to ensure efficiency
* Supporting the performance management and personal development planning process
* Planning and coordinating the day to day running of recruitment activities, including assessment events, recruitment fairs and interviews
* Compiling offer letters, employment contracts, role profiles and job descriptions
* Liaising with training providers in the provision of relevant CPD training for the business, supporting training activities and associated administration
* Day to day management of the HR system and ensuring integrity of data, including recording employee data, management reporting and analysis, user training
* Carrying out ad hoc project work

Key Skills / Qualifications:

* Graduate calibre
* Previous experience within an HR function, and working knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, legislation and employment law and their practical application
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships at all levels
* Great organisation and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple activities, manage deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
* The ability to work on initiative, taking ownership to solve problems and make decisions
* A high degree of personal integrity, diplomacy and sensitivity
* A proactive, 'can do' approach
* Attention to detail, a good level of numerical and verbal reasoning
* Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and HR systems

You will be at least CIPD level 3 qualified and looking to continue / progress in your studies.
