Henlee Resourcing is working with this niche organisation based in Old Town, Swindon to recruit a talented HR Officer / Advisor on a permanent basis. The role can be full time, 4 full days or 5 shorter days - the Company is prepared to be flexible for the right person!! Study will also be supported.

The purpose of the role is to provide HR and L&D advice and support in delivering a high level of service and operational advice to the Directorate, Senior Management Team and key personnel in-line with company and legal requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

HR

* Administer HR related documentation such as job offers and employment contracts
* Ensure that employee records are maintained, up to date and accurate
* Take ownership of employee sickness and absence
* Prepare all letters for changes to employment terms
* Supporting, coaching and advising line managers on a broad range of HR needs, including terms and conditions of employment, policy and procedure including employee relations, onboarding and performance management, absence management using Bradford Factor and attending investigatory meetings
* Development of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation, terms and conditions of service, best practice and employee engagement initiatives
* Review of HR processes, to ensure efficiency
* Supporting the performance management and personal development planning process at all levels within the company

Learning and Development

* Day to day management and administration of company statutory and mandatory training matrix
* Support in producing and updating organisational training material and other resources related to training events
* Produce reports, statistics and training data
* Responsible for the day to day management and administration of the company Training Management System and external statutory and mandatory training platform including, setting up new users, user information changes and content management
* Liaising with other stakeholders to research, source and share best practice in training standards

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Previous experience working in a HR Officer / Advisor capacity
* Qualified to CIPD Level 3 essential, CIPD Level 5 desirable
* Experience of using Learning Management and HR systems
* Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
* Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to forge positive working relationships and use influencing skills with colleagues and stakeholders
* Enthusiasm, good team player with a strong work ethic
* A natural sense of ownership, responsibility, accountability and humour
