Interim HR Consultant (Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension)
Part time: 2-3 days per week
Location: Between Wetzlar & Gießen, Germany
Pay: €650-750 / Day - Invoiced directly to the client

This specialist niche manufacturing company, with operations in the UK and Germany, is seeking a skilled Interim HR Consultant to lead the integration of their recently acquired business in Wetzlar, Germany.
This hands-on role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition and fostering collaboration between teams across the German and UK businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translation & Interpretation: Analyse and translate critical People-data from German to English (and vice versa) to ensure seamless communication between stakeholders.
* Integration Planning: Develop and implement people-focused integration strategies.
* 'Quick Wins': Pinpoint and execute high-impact, immediate opportunities for improvement.
* Management Engagement: Work closely with management to address and resolve legacy issues, with sensitivity and professionalism.
What We're Looking For:
* Credibility: A HR lead with proven ability to engage and build trust with employees at all levels.
* Cultural Understanding: In-depth knowledge of German business culture and its integration with international processes.
* Hands-On Approach: Willingness to provide practical and hands on HR support, in a small team environment (60 staff in Germany, 120 internationally).
N.B. This role will initially be part-time, requiring 2-3 days work per week, hybrid working (1-2 days onsite every week), for approximately 6 months. However, with growth ambitions, particularly in Germany, this position has the potential to evolve into a more extended or permanent opportunity.
